Conceived, designed and created between 1993 and 1996 whilst studying sculpture in Cranbrook and at Hastings College of Art, England and the West Wales School of Art in Carmarthen, Wales, these books represents a journey into sculpture from initial sketches to a fully realised physical work of art. In essence it is the sketch book / journey of the various, progressive, creative stages that were taken in realising In Search Of Silence (See In Search Of Silence book for more). What is here is presented in an extremely bare bones presentation of the best of what has survived from the time it was initially created. The journey was influenced by and was similar in style to the works of Ben Nicholson, Sol Le Wit, Anthony Caro and Kenneth Snelson. Some work was upgraded for this book in 2018.
