About the Book
Røtter is Norwegian for Roots.
I just spent the last two years in the wilderness, a refuge from the mental and physical beating I'd just suffered from living in the heart of New York City. As I started over from scratch and with nothing, I learned to survive without a house, plumbing, electricity, and while sharing territory with some very wild creatures. This taught me meditation, patience, and gave me a spiritual strength I'd not previously had. This magazine-formatted publication is a reflection of my state of mind while I immersed myself in and clung to nature. It's not a documentary; rather, it's an artpiece that parallels my mentality while I found myself moving in a more honest and simple direction- back to my roots.
