Born in Medicine Hat , Alberta in 1928
Lived in Exshaw Alberta until she was 10 years old then moved with family to Edmonton. Graduated from the Royal Alex as a Registered Nurse.in 1950 & married that year . Had an interesting & happy life life with her Mining Engineer husband who died in 2008 - Lived in several places in Canada and visited the Arctic as well as India and Africa. Has always loved to paint and draw - Have 3 grown sons and 5 grandchildren - Published her book MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY (art book covering 64 years of paintings) for family and friends. Perhaps there will be time to publish a second book with 4x4 inch paintings and 5x7 foot paintings ?
No formal art training but certainly picked the brains of very talented artists and have put in in many many hours trying to improve my art. It is never work when one is having fun!
