About

I'm the two-time veteran (Air Force & Army) who was looking for something to keep my mind active during early retirement. I didn't understand all the tech stuff, but discovered I had a knack for telling stories. Call me the late bloomer.

I always wondered what made her tick. To me she will always be the Mississippi gal who had so many kids she barley knew what to do. I'm the ninth of her 14 children.

She never learned how to drive and took public transportation everywhere. She even caught the bus to work when she was in her mid eighties. Waiting for the bus in the Detroit winter is no joke.

When she left us in 2010 at the age of 90, I got the rest of the story. She had it rough but she never gave up. Her mother died when she was only 8 and she only knew of her father. What he did, is leave her his legacy.

As a Native American in the Mississippi Delta, he kept tack of all his off spring during his life time. When mom left she was the last of his 33. I am the continuation of her.
