I am Daniel Poisson. I am a self-taught artist. I have always created. I have always done artwork. I was born in 1976 in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada to parents of European and First Nations Ancestry. I now base myself in Victoria ,BC, Canada. I have travelled and explored extensively both locally and afar and draw great inspiration from all aspects of life, whether positive or negative. Most of my work is created from imagination, although I do sometimes use photographs, images or objects of mine and other peoples to draw inspiration from.

I do not have a style. I do not try intentionally to have such a broad range of works, however, I do try intentionally to produce work that is consistant with my feelings, emotions, moods and place in time.
