Richard is a self taught artist. Even though he has never studied art in an academic setting, the private training he has taken has allowed him the freedom and independence to develop his own unique style of art.

From 2007 to the present, he has been developing his own distinctive style, receiving numerous awards in local art competitions, including two Best Of Show.
Beginning in 2011, Richard has concentrated more on Art Festivals and teaching workshops.

Richard believes his art allows his imagination to expand and flourish. Unrelated objects combined with paint results in a singular entity and unique work of art. His art ranges from fanciful and fun to exciting and emotional. His objective is to rouse feelings within the viewer.
