About

The over-used descriptive “renaissance man” is certainly appropriate regarding Robert Emmons. Corporate executive, international consultant, university professor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, art collector, and poet all can be genuinely applied to the author of LOVE SHADOWS.

An accomplished author, Emmons has seven books to his credit. His first volume of poetry, Other Places, Other Times, Literary Arts 1973, was called “a gem of a book” by Los Angeles Times critic William Murphy. Pulitzer Prize-winning author and poet, N. Scott Momaday commenting on Emmons after the publication of his volume, The Road to Paradise, Capra Press 2003, said, “Robert Emmons…is thought, perception, and imagination personified. He sees beyond the superficial aspects of experience to the realities at the center of our lives. The invitation is to wonder, to delight, to solace, to discover the sacred within us. We accept, and we are enriched in the acceptance.”
