Three words describe Nicola Brown's textile practice, simple, natural, crafted.

Inspired by the beauty of the rural Irish landscape Nicola explores the use of eco printing to impart colour directly from organic materials onto silk, wool, handmade felt, vintage Japanese kimono silk and antique French linen.

As well as creating exhibition pieces and work for sale Nicola delivers regular group and bespoke private workshops from her purpose built studio and print/dye garden in Ireland. Each year she facilitates several international retreats and classes but for those not in a position to travel and attend in person she also offers a series of online workshops.
