Greg Honeyman started out in professional life in Melbourne, Australia in the heady and exciting advertising industry in the 1960’s with qualifications in graphic design and a passion for photography.
Travelling to Europe in the mid 1970’s found him being able to combine his creative graphic design skills, a flair for copywriting and his ability with a camera into a new career in the travel industry. His job was to travel on all the tours offered by the company, meeting with, writing about and photographing the passengers and places the company visited.
For the next five and a half years, Greg travelled to every corner of Europe, including all the countries behind the ‘iron curtain’, as well as Greece, Asia Minor, North Africa and India. As the old saying goes, it was a tough job, but someone had to do it.
