About the Book
Enter into the world of Too True Tales, a collection of stories collected in the mind of Bill the Fisherman whilst on his rounds in the supermarket. Too True Tales focuses on ironic anecdotes that complement the stunning acrylic paintings within. The reader can be transported away into a humorous world of strange and interesting characters, and the tales cannot fail to bring a smile for just a few moments each time. This book was created by David Pryle, an artist, author and poet who wrote and illustrated all of these quirky tales. It is the first in a series of works that he had left unpublished after he passed away in 2015, edited by his son Joseph.

I am a researcher into sport, teacher and coach. My PhD focuses on cricket in the USA, based on time I have spent playing and living in California. I have also spent time in Australia, where I have worked in the ski industry. My photo is me with my partner Gail at the Grand Canyon, and she has travelled the world with me to share a lot of cultural experiences. In addition to my academic studies, I have a passion for art and creativity and enjoy using Blurb to create a range of books. My late father was an inspiration and my motivation is to share his works with the world through this self publishing website.
