About the Book
At 32 years of age Simon Davies, inspired by reading his dad's memoir, started penning his own. He was a separated father-of-two, living in an ex-girlfriend's spare room. At 40, he finished it. By then he was happily married to a different woman, with two more children (and still friends with that ex-girlfriend).
His is a story of the most common man imaginable. An average childhood, an underachieving adolescence, unemployment, depression, fatherhood, divorce and ultimately, redemption.
Common dances between laugh-out-loud funny and tear-jerkingly poignant.
It shows that even the most common man can have an interesting story.
