About

Dusty Grein is an editor, graphics designer, author, and poet. Originally from Federal Way, Washington, he is a lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest.

He currently lives in Oregon State, where his teenage daughter and a dog named Naked are working together to keep him in line. Although he spent twenty-five years as a mainframe computer programmer, it wasn’t until after a heart attack that he truly found his calling, and returned to his roots as a reader and writer.

His critically acclaimed novel, The Sleeping Giant, is available in print and as a Kindle Select title. His shorter works and award-winning poetry have been published in several journals and collections, including Chicken Soup for the Soul, Better Than Starbucks magazine, Stinkwaves Magazine for Young Readers, Our Write Side Inked, and Anthology Askew.

An ACP certified poet and self-proclaimed neo-classicist, his poetic focus is on keeping metered poetry fresh and alive.
