About the Creator
Carole Harmel
Chicago, Il.
Attended Smith College, Antioch College, the Chicago Art Institute and Northwestern University. Majors in art, photography and film. Taught at the Chicago City Colleges for close to 40 years. Founding member of Artemisia Gallery, a women's coop in the '70's. Have shown at Printworks Gallery, Chicago, among many other venues, national and international. Have written for the New Art Examiner and Exposure. Recently have been collaborating with a group of Chicago artists on theme shows: The Odyssey and and Iliad and now, A Clowder of Cats, with our cat Mica, and a group of Chicago artists.
