About the Book
2F, 1M
In 1958 Ireland, sisters Rosaleen and Catherine grow to define their roles as women in a community of Irish Travellers. In a culture dominated by passionate men and their taste for violence , the sisters give the audience a window into the lives of the women, "around the campfires and in the caravans." Reeling from a recent tragedy, the sisters must navigate their way toward acceptance, music, and light.
