About the Book
A book of stories from Jack Chawner who worked as a bullock driver in 1920 and his journey through life. Made from interviews made during the 1980s, the book shows in photographs and text a life of richness and love. He could recall his early life with accuracy and as we have seen his memory was consistent and thus recollection.
His mother was a photographer and some of the photographs are hers, dating from 1895.
