Friends for over a decade and 8 mile neighbors in Madison County, Illinois, Adams-Marks and Vivod, curated the show and created the catalog. Both are alumnae of SIUE, both art teachers (Vivod formerly) who actively exhibit and have work in public and private collections. They were thrilled to curate and participate in From the Inside out.

About the Creator
Patricia Vivod is an American artist. After a 25 year career as a secondary art teacher, she earned a Master of Fine Arts (Printmaking) from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and began developing alternative and organic printing techniques using rust and plant based materials on silk creating large scale wall hangings. Her resume includes three solo and over 75 juried and invitational shows, many awards and prizes. and five curated exhibitions. Her work is in public and private collections including the Mitchell Art Museum at Mt. Vernon, Illinois; Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri; and Meadowood Napa Valley, St. Helena, California. She resides in Madison County, IL.
