The Camping Surprise is the story of a boy named Pie who embarks on a camping trip to the Cascade Mountains of Washington state by himself. With the threat of hunger looming over him, Pie tests fate and makes a surprising discovery along the way.

About the Creator
Pierce Friel loves ski racing and reading mysteries. He hopes to go to Kitzbühel someday and maybe even race in the Hahnenkammrennen. Pierce is ten years old and in fifth grade at Town School for Boys in San Francisco. He is a member of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team. The Kitzbühel Mystery is Pierce's second book.
