About the Book
Life History and ancestry of Florence Francis Rogers (1919-2014), She was born in the small town of Morgan, Utah. After her marriage to Robison Max Rogers, they both graduated from Brigham Young University in 1942 where Florence was a voice student of renowned Dr. Florence Jeppersen Madsen. After their Stanford years, Max and Florence settled in Provo Utah where they raised their family of six children. Max taught at Brigham Young University, and Florence was very active in the music world of Utah Valley. She sang and toured with the LDS Singing Mothers, was President of the University Opera Guild, and conducted the Madsen Memorial Chorus for 30 years. Music was a vital part of her life. Her other love was her family and serving with her husband at the Provo LDS Temple.
