About the Book
Whether you're nearing 50 and dreading it, or over 50 and loving it (or just like spending time in the company of positive people) this collection of interviews and portraits invites you to re-think what it means to move into a second half century.
"I know that Jo's ambition for this project was to show that life after 50 is less about ageing and slowing down and more about taking up new hobbies, starting new projects and thoroughly enjoying life. She has definitely succeeded with this wonderful collection of images and interviews. Jo has created a joyful celebration that can't help but make you smile." Annabel Williams, International Portrait Photographer.

I spend my days showing women of all ages how beautiful they are and turning them into works of art. Sometimes, I chase their children through parks and woods, capture their menfolk and document their weddings. I write a blog about turning 50 called project50 (http://project5o.wordpress.com) and am currently developing a series of children's books. If I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my husband, Neil, with my four adult children and/or my grandchildren, all of whom bring me my greatest joy.
