Janie lives in Mount Kuring-Gai, north of Sydney, Australia with her husband Len. They are both avid photographers. She is a past President of Central Coast Leagues Club Camera Club and currently belongs to Castle Hill Camera Club and the North Sydney Leagues Photographic Society. Janie is also a member of both the Photographic Society of America and the Australian Photograph Society. She has been a Federation of Camera Clubs judge for club, national and international competitions since 2007 and has gained both FAPS and AFIAP honours. Janie competes in international salons and writes articles for photography magazines.
