About the Book
‘Thoughts unsaid, then forgotten’ questions what is actual intimacy in a couple and invite the viewer to consider that even though we could live with another person, we never know someone fully. By capturing and revealing the signals and gestures that develop between intimates, the photographer Gaia Danieli shows the twisting labyrinths of emotion that sometimes, and more often than we think, belie our gestures and ‘betray’ our declared intentions.
