About the Book
After freshman year, a student-environmentalist is invited by the president of his college to conduct collaborative space-weather research at a secretive government facility in Alaska. He accepts, but soon finds himself caught up in a moral dilemma between being a good student and being a good environmental advocate. This series of vignettes of the people, places, and conversations that this young man encounters along the way takes you on his journey through the Alaskan taiga and toward self-discovery.
