This book is a collection of short pieces that I have composed since I was in my twenties. I have learned an awful lot in that time and I figured, what better time to put them into a format that family, friends, and anyone or just an interest might enjoy them. The amazement that I am experiencing with watching my children express similar philosophies and emotions was the tipping point that brought me here. Now that I am here, I want so much to go further. Some of these pieces are less than complete, although even in the draft form they convey an important slice of me that I wanted to circulate. The final chapter is not mine, but the gifted speaker who skillfully crafted these words must have been been skulpted form the same block of matter as I, as we think the same. I felt it was mandatory to share his work in this book. I will continue to poke at another, perhaps more organized and thought out compendium in the near future. Until then, enjoy.
