About the Book
For Denise Rouleau and Mark Roberts, “The Last Polaroid Show" represents the end of an era of photographing with SX-70 (Time Zero) Polaroid film, as it is no longer produced. What makes this film so unique to work with is that the film dyes are like wet paint that can be hand manipulated before they harden, resulting in surreal and impressionistic images. With their remaining sheets of film, Mark and Denise capture a unique perspective of the flora and architecture of Como Park’s Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in St. Paul Minnesota.
